Patrick Grossmann qualified in 1974 from University College Hospital Dental School, London University, as Bachelor of Dental Surgery following which he received his Diploma of Orthodontics in 1978. In that year he was awarded a Scholarship to continue his studies at the University of Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany.

 

In 1980 Patrick Grossmann entered private practice and also took up an appointment as Senior Dental Officer in Orthodontics for the South London Area Health Authority, a position he held for 15 years. At this time he was also employed by the Middlesex Hospital, London, in their combined orthodontic/maxillo-facial clinic.

 

Patrick Grossmann offers an effective treatment options for Bruxism including:

- Dental appliances which prevent jaw movement thereby reducing/eliminating excessive muscle activity

- Behavioural/psychological therapies

- Short term medication

 

In addition to his private practice, Patrick Grossmann acts as an expert witness in dento-legal matters.
